Category:Pirate's Cove

From June to October of 2020, I parked my RV at a coastal overlook near Avila Beach, in SLO county. Pirate's Cove is a clothing-optional beach... Which made for some great sights to see but limited the photos I was allowed to take... For some reason I didn't do any portrait sessions, though some were suggested but never panned out due to unrelated drama...

My first night there, I overheard a young couple fighting: him threatening to smash in her van windows and "do something we'll both regret." Certainly boosted my confidence for the location, but I kept giving it another chance. I later became friends with the her, and almost got in a fight against him a couple times... My last night there, I did end up getting involved in a fight, trying to break it up. But not every night out there was violent, most were a lot of fun with great people that I will call Friends.

I spent the first month mostly on my own, reading outside my RV overlooking the ocean. But then I met some people and parties commenced. In the group of people were some with skills in DJ, and others with fire spinning skillz. So I used my photography skillz to record the rave fire spinning in the cave at night, you can find those videos on my YouTube channel.

The sunsets were breathtaking, and the full moons were spectacular.
